Aeria Games has announced the start of the Closed Beta client for Shaiya, giving players early access to a game with dozens of maps, hundreds of monsters, over 1,000 quests, and more than 1,000 different items, armor and weapons.

At 5:25PM, Monday, November 26th, 2007, Shaiya: Light and Darkness began its first steps of Closed Beta testing.

We're starting out slowly, sending out Closed Beta invites in batches. If you don't receive your invite right away, PLEASE BE PATIENT. There is method to our madness.

We do have cross-promotions in place with other companies, so check in with your second-favorite 'net community (cuz we know Aeria is your fave!). You never know, they might have invites that they're passing out.

We're all excited about Shaiya taking its first steps towards the first "M" in MMORPG and are equally jazzed about having you all join us.
