Is it getting a tad stuffy in your resident realm in the World of Warcraft? While Europe gets a new realm, Blizzard's looking to address population issues in North America's World of Warcraft realms with a helping of free character transfers. Bornakk passed by the WoW forums earlier to announce that they will be implementing a series of free character transfers to and from the game's PvP realms.

Quote from Bornakk: "We will be offering free character moves from a selected high population realm to a lower populated realm, assisting in population dispersal. The ability to move a character on the selected source realms will become available on Thursday, July 10 at 12:00PM PDT, and are scheduled to run until Thursday, July 17 at 12:00PM PDT."

In the event that these realms meet our transfer goals before the scheduled end date, the transfers to that realm will be disabled. They highly recommend that if you are planning to transfer that you do so at your earliest convenience. No characters will be eligible for these free moves once the transfers have been closed.
