Today when I come to the one big forum, one topic come to my eyes "Why Hunter considered noobiest class of this game?" Is Hunter considered noobiest class?
Because when ever we kill a class other than a hunter using a hunter, they always find a way 2 complain, they say we are the noobiest class because we practice, and got our kiting and our shot rotations down, just right.
One guys over the forum and gives his ideas:
No one says hunters are the noobiest anymore, in fact we're very sought after in both raids and pvp, hunters at the moment have the best dps in the game (among good players of equal skill level). Seen it go past 5.5k
Dk is the new noob class. I've never heard the position that Hunter is the "Noobiest" class, but I'm quite familiar with the idea that it is (or at least was) the easiest class- and I'd have to agree.
Hunters get the second-highest armor in the game, have their own personal tank with them at all times, have very few weapon restrictions in addition to Feign Death, which has almost no cooldown and keeps you from dieing 95+% of time when PvE.
The average/stereotypical Hunter fight is as follows: Send in pet, let pet get Agro, begin autoshooting, apply stings and arcane shots when able, mend pet if necessary, target dies, Repeat. While there's no argument that good hunters do great damage and add a lot to a raid, it's not terribly hard for a hunter to get to high level, never really mastering the class. A mediocre hunter can join a raid, not bring all the damage and powers they could/should, weighing down the group and never see that they're doing anything wrong. It could be argued that any class could weigh down a group, but its most likely with an easily-leveled class, like Hunter.
After a break, he continues it:
Other classes have similar advantages, but not so many as Hunters.
Shaman upgrade from leather to Mail armor at 40, just as Hunters do, but have no permanent tank, much less CC and require points in ALL stats, not just Agility, AP and Stamina (this list is abbreviated for simplicity). Warlocks also have personal tanks, but suffer with the lowest armor class in game, with no bubble or shield effects to augment it. If a hunter agro's a mob it's fighting, (s)he can either Feign Death, back up, then keep shooting or just use melee skill to kill. Warlocks don't have either capacity.
Rogues are significantly more difficult than Hunters to play. They possess less health and armor after 40, have almost no multiple target or AoE attacks (unlike Volley and Multi-shot), have no pet, which means if they want someone to die- They have to go in and make it happen. The reason there are so many Rogues is that truly great Rogues are a force in PvP, Raids and deal good damage PvE. Therefore others players realize that, want that capacity, so they make Rogue characters, but don't master the class making rogues seem Noobish. For further clarification, go to the <why people hate hunters?> thread (also in the Hunters forum).
